This class has been specially
designed to offer information that addresses topics such as :
- An overview of autism spectrum disorder
- The diagnostic criteria for Pervasive Developmental Disorders
- Learning Theories
- Information and research regarding Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Information for families and caregivers interested in home based
programs
This seminar
includes:
- An introduction to basic behavioral concepts and techniques
- Intensive instruction in Discrete Trial Training and other behavior analytical teaching methods
- Addressing challenging behaviors and problem solving
- Data Collection and Interpretation
This class is most beneficial for those who already have an understanding
of the ABA model but are interested in advancing his/her training
and methodology.
